# Contribute to the API

The HTTP API at [api.dicebear.com](https://api.dicebear.com) is a
[Fastify](https://www.fastify.io/) server that lives in its own repository:
[`dicebear/api`](https://github.com/dicebear/api).

The contribution guide, including local setup, the test suite, the Docker-based
production image, and the release process, lives alongside the code:
